Introduction to Mental Health IOP

What Is a Mental Health IOP?

A Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured, clinically driven treatment program designed to support individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges—without requiring inpatient hospitalization. It’s ideal for those who need more than weekly therapy but don’t require 24-hour care.

At Oklahoma IOP Center, our IOP allows you to receive high-quality mental health care while maintaining your everyday responsibilities like work, school, or family life.

What Does Our Mental Health IOP Involve?

Our outpatient program combines multiple modalities to provide comprehensive, holistic care. A typical week includes:

3–5 days per week of group therapy sessions (3 hours/day)
Weekly individual therapy with a licensed mental health clinician
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management (if needed)
Evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care
